Funeral services for Donald K. Willcutt, 77, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral Home May 14 with Dr. Jerrold Swinton officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Pallbearers were Brett Eggert, Lyle Grove, Vernon Lamp, Jim Cary and Bill and Dale Stiff. Betty Trevathan was organist. Masonic services were held May 13.

Mr. Willcutt died at the Crestview Care Center, West Branch, May 11.

The son of Guy A. and Alice Stutler Willcutt, he was born near Bennett Feb. 24, 1908. He graduated from Tipton high school in 1926. He was married to Florence Countryman at Springdale June 4, 1935.

An electrician, he was an independent contractor before going to work for the city of Tipton in 1967. He became purchasing agent for Tipton in 1970 and became semiretired in 1974, assisting with city records and other work until he retired in 1976.

Mr. Willcutt was a well-read man and had a long association with the Tipton Public library. He was appointed to the Tipton Library board Feb. 7, 1977 to fill out the term of Merl Carroll. He left the board July 1, 1981, but continued to serve as an advisor to the library board until he entered Crestview.

He is survived by his wife, Crestview Care Center, West Branch; a daughter, Mrs. Willard (Adee) Ganes, Golfport, Miss.; 4 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mildred Marquis, Davenport and Mrs. Gladys Moon, Davenport.
