Graveside services for Edna Bell, 87, a former Tipton resident, were held in the Tipton Masonic cemetery June 24, with Dr. Glenn Parrott officiating. Dye Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Bell died June 20 at Laurel, Neb. The daughter of John Wesley and Susan W. Mitchell, she left Tipton in her teens and returned during the 1960's to take care of her brother, E. C. Mitchell until his death in 1966.

Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Harry Overman, Tipton and a nephew, Prof. Carroll Mitchell, Burlington. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and 2 sisters.
