Mrs. Charles Thompson the former Lila Mae Proctor, died Aug. 5 at Renwick after an illness of 5 months. Funeral services were held at St. Paul's Lutheran church, Renwick, Aug. 8.

The daughter of Fred and Minnie Proctor, she was born near Lime City, Sugar Creek township and graduated from Tipton high school in 1934. She attended Tipton Junior college and Iowa State college.

She was married to Arthur S. Larson Aug. 3, 1944. He died in August, 1968. Feb. 1, 1974 she was married to Charles Thompson.

Mrs. Thompson had lived in the Renwick area for more than 35 years, having taught in the school there for a number of years.

She is survived by her husband, her mother, 2 daughters and 3 granddaughters.
