Last rites for Mrs. Ada Mae Millett, 91, a lifelong resident of West Branch were held at the West Branch Friends church July 20, with the Rev. Edward English officiating. Burial was in the North Liberty cemetery, northeast of Springdale.

Mrs. Millett died at a West Branch care center July 17, following an extended illness. A memorial fund has been established.

The daughter of Newton and Mariam Negos Branson, she was born in Cedar county Aug. 18, 1882. She was married to Elmer Lewis June 18, 1907. He died in 1911. She was married to Lee Millett in Paonia, Colo., in 1912. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Millett was a life member of the West Branch Friends church and its auxiliary and was a member of the Women's Christian Temperance Union.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. Goda Gatch, Newton and Mrs. Elizabeth Smith, Ames; 2 sons, Roscoe and Raymond, both of West Branch, 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
