Funeral services for Mrs. Queen B. Wilson, 87, were held at Cedar Rapids June 29 with the Rev. Lawrence A. Chamberlain of Kenwood Park Presbyterian church officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial Park cemetery.

Mrs. Wilson died June 27, following a short illness.

She was born at Tipton Sept. 2, 1886, the daughter of Rollo and Emma Agne Stout. She graduated from Tipton high school in 1908, attended Cornell college and graduated from the Northwestern University school of speech. She was married to Roland C. Wilson at Tipton in June, 1914.

She was an elocutionist for the Santa Fe railroad and traveled throughout the United States during the "Harvey Girl" era. She was written into a book by her niece, Jean Kenney, and the publisher from New York came to Cedar Rapids in 1967 and put on a tea in her honor for 250 friends. She was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian church where she attended the Sarah guild.

In 1970 she received a national award from the Presbyterian church when a tribute to missions was in her honor. She was a member of the Tuesday Study club; was a charter member of the L.A.L. club in Cedar Rapids; Sunday Night club and several bridge clubs.

Surviving are a brother, Dr. C. A. Stout, Cedar Rapids; 2 nieces and one nephew.
