Funeral services for Lee Freeman, 80, Clarence, are being held at 10:30 a.m. today (June 6) at the United Methodist church with the Rev. Donald Kehrli officiating. Burial will be in the Clarence cemetery. Military rites will be conducted by Victory Post 286, American Legion. Masonic rites were conducted June 6 at the Chapman Funeral home.

Music is by Mrs. Al Cooperider with Mrs. James Sawyer Jr. organist. Pallbearers are Henry Klatt, Wayne Paul, John Christophersen, George Ibsen, Ronald Kirkpatrick and Reid Thein. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dewell and Mr. and Mrs. David Dewell are in charge of flowers.

Mr. Freeman died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, June 3.

He was born May 23, 1894, at Clarence and married to Winifred Wood, Aug. 18, 1920 at Clinton. She preceded him in death. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors included a daughter, Mrs. Art (Bonnilee) Brown, Davenport; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gifford Millard, Central City, and a brother, Vern, Clarence.
