Last rites for Mrs. Anna B. Lauer, 73, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home March 23, with the Rev. Ronald Bessert officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bryce Werling, Fred Passmore, Clarence March, Donald Reeder, Lloyd Dickinson and Raymond Lewis. Mrs. Max Phelps was organist.

Mrs. Lauer died of a heart attack March 20.

The daughter of Charles and Anna L. Werling Kautz, she was born in rural Meigs county, Ohio, and attended the Cedar county schools. She was married to Carl N. Lauer at Mt. Vernon, May 5, 1955.

She has been a resident of the Tipton area since 1913. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church, Atalissa.

She is survived by her husband, a step-son, Lewis Lauer, Baltimore, Md., and 2 brothers, Elmer and Albert Kautz, both of Tipton.
