Funeral services for Mrs. Charles (Mary Josephine) Bishop, 83, were held at Perryville, Mo., March 18 with the Rev. Fred Shrum officiating. Burial was in the Crossroads Methodist cemetery.

Pallbearers were Gerald, Eddie and John Behrle, Richard Danz, Bob Espy and Rudy Milster.

Mrs. Bishop died at Perryville March 16.

The daughter of John and Mary Matilda Robinson Reiss, she was born in Perry county, Missouri, Feb. 14, 1891. She was married to Charles W. Bishop April 5, 1910.

Mrs. Bishop is survived by her husband, 6 children, David Bishop and Mrs. Martha Behrle, Tipton; Chester Bishop, Mechanicsville; Mrs. Homer (Lorean) Springer; Mrs. Arthur :(Alma) Graff and Charles Bishop, all of Perryville; 2 half brothers, Joe Bishop, Tipton and Cordell Bishop of Missouri; 26 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 3 sons and a daughter, the latest to die was Dewey Bishop in 1967.
