Funeral services for Mrs. Florence A. Kirkpatrick, 88, were held at Trinity Lutheran church April 29 with the Rev. Jerry Jorgensen officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick died at a Marion nursing home April 27. She had been an invalid for several years.

The daughter of James and Martha Ann Wyant Wilkerson, she was born at Tipton Sept. 13, 1884 and was married to Howard E. Kirkpatrick at Tipton Sept. 14, 1909. The couple lived in Tipton until the death of Mr. Kirkpatrick in 1965 when she moved to Central City.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Tipton.

Mrs. Kirkpatrick is survived by 6 sons, Robert C., Torrance, Calif.; William E., Rollin R. and Kenneth H., all of Davenport; Glen R., Phoenix, Ariz. and James C., Mundelein, Ill.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Maude) Julifs, Onslow and Mrs. Carroll (Maurine) Smola, Central City; 23 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Clara, and twin sons, Cecil and Chester.
