Funeral services for Arnold Popp, 72, Yankton, S. Dak., will be held at 1:30 p.m. (today) April 19 at Sheets & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Harlan Levsen officiating. Burial will be in Inland cemetery, Bennett.

Mr. Popp was born Oct. 17, 1900 in Sunbury to Julius Henry Popp and Annie Lilienthal and lived in the Bennett area until he moved to Winner, S.Dak., 20 years ago. He had been a patient in the Concorn Nursing Home with a lingering illness. He was a member of the American Legion at Winner, S. Dak.

Survivors include 2 brothers, Edward Popp, Stockton and Walter Popp, Bennett; 2 sisters, Mrs. Mable Groth and Mrs. Norma Goettsch both of Bennett and 2 nephews. His parents and a brother preceded him in death.
