Funeral services for Samuel Clinton Lincoln, 93, Davenport, a native of Rochester, were held at Wilton March 1 with burial in Inland cemetery, near Bennett.

Mr. Lincoln died at St. Luke's hospital, Davenport, Feb. 26, following a long illness.

The son of George and Ruhama Smith Lincoln, he was born at Rochester Feb. 9, 1880 and lived in Wilton for 63 years. He was married to Ada Fisher at Muscatine Feb. 14, 1910. He was a member of the IOOF lodge.

He is survived by a son, Philson, Wilton; 2 daughters, Mrs. Leland (Phlora) Barkalow, Wilton and Mrs. Pearl Brasch, Davenport; 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, a daughter, 2 sisters and 5 brothers.
