Funeral services for Mrs. Carl H. (Florence) Hallquist, 67, Rock Island, a native of Tipton, were held in Rock Island Feb. 10 with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mrs. Hallquist died at a Moline nursing center Feb. 7.

The daughter of William and Emma Long Parker, she was born in Tipton Aug. 6, 1905 and received her education in Tipton. She was married to Ray Williams in 1922. She was married to Carl Hallquist in Rock Island July 20, 1946. She lived in Tipton prior to moving to Rock Island 30 years ago.

She is survived by her husband, 4 daughters, Mrs. William (Ethel) Cox, Geneva, Ill.; Mrs. Bernadine Randles, Moline, Ill.; Mrs. Frank (Evelyn) Quinlan and Mrs. Leallen (Betty) Ahrens, Davenport, a son, Sam Williams, Pleasant Valley; 17 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Also a brother, Howard Parker, Tipton; a stepmother, Mrs. Jennie Parker, Hopkinton; 3 half-sisters, Mrs. Golda Bortleson, Bettendorf; Mrs. Janette Baril, Martelle and Mrs. Helen Stanger, Mercer Island, Wash.; 2 half-brothers, Loren Parker, Hopkinton and Stanley Parker, Martelle and a step-sister, Mrs. Velma Crawford, Naples, Fla. She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.
