Funeral services for Mrs. Donald (Maxine) Whitlatch, 57, were held at the Red Oak church Feb. 12 with the Rev. Wanis Simon officiating. Burial was in the Red Oak cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lloyd and Verl Nebergall, David Henderson, Carl Crispin, Mike Cord and James Moore. Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cone were in charge of flowers. Roger Hanson was vocalist and Mrs. Max Phelps organist. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the heart fund.

Mrs. Whitlatch died at her home south of Tipton Feb. 9 following a heart attack.

The daughter of H. Ray and Leone Strauser Challis, she was born near Tipton July 31, 1915 and attended the Tipton schools. She was married to Donald H. Whitlatch in Tipton Oct. 13, 1933. She was a lifetime resident of the Tipton area.

She is survived by her husband; 4 sons, Robert Donald and Keith Lee, Tipton; Perry Allen, Clarence and Howard Ray, Stanwood; 4 grandchildren, a brother, Donald R. Challis, Tipton, a niece and 3 nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister.
