Last rites for Mrs. Dora H. Siemsen, 79, will be held at 1:30 p.m. today (Feb. 15) at the Sheets and Son Funeral home with the Rev. Glenn Parrott officiating. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers are Barry Garrels, Kenneth and Gary Connelly, Kevin and Richard Siemsen, and Donovan Fox. Mrs. Paul Hutchens and Bernice Rekemeyer will be in charge of flowers and Mrs. Irma Crawford organist.

Mrs. Siemsen died at her home in Tipton Feb. 13.

The daughter of Jurgen and Caroline Rasch Hagge, she was born near Bennett Nov. 1, 1893 and was educated in the rural schools of Cedar county. She was married to Harry H. Siemsen at Davenport Aug. 10, 1921.

She had been a resident of the Bennett area until 1953 when she moved to Tipton. She was a member of the Methodist church, Circle 3 of the WSCS, the Rebekah lodge and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by a son, Harlen H., Bennett; 2 daughters, Mrs. Albert (Nola) Garrels, Wilton and Mrs. Dale (Corrine) Connelly, Washington; 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Mrs. Mary Wagner, Wheatland; Mrs. Anna Riedesel, Bennett and Mrs. Lorenz (Alvena) Goettsch, Davenport. She was preceded in death by her husband, 3 sisters and a brother.
