December 21, 1972 - The Tipton Conservative

Pearl F. Wright, 82, died Dec. 18 at Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton. She was a former Tipton resident and worked at Smith's Ready to Wear for several years. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. today (Dec. 21) at Sheets & Son Funeral Home. She will be buried at the Tipton Masonic cemetery. Mrs. Winifred Nace of Tipton is a niece.

Pearl F. Wright, 82, died Dec. 18 at Jane Lamb hospital, Clinton. Services were held Dec. 21 at 10:30 a.m. at Sheets & Son Funeral Home. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Rev. E. H. Lauer conducted the service and pallbearers were Leonard Dice, Carl Fredricks, Charles Bolton, Don Welty, Charles Gibbons and L. E. Aker.

She was born July 31, 1890 in Cedar county, her parents being David and Ida Emira Wright and was educated in the rural Cedar county schools. She was employed as a sales woman at Smith's Ready-to-Wear for several years and was a member of the Methodist church.

Survivors include nieces, Mrs. Winifred Nace of Tipon and Mrs. Warren (Thelma) Hoskins of Waterloo, nephews, C. Sumner Wright, Clinton and Jack Wright, Rock Island, Ill. and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Minnie Wright of Mechanicsville. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and 6 brothers.
