Final rites for Ernest Dinse, 87, were held at the Dye Funeral home Oct. 5 with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran cemetery at Clarence.

Pallbearers were Kenneth Smith, John and Ora Hoy, John Donohoe, Ernest Von Behren and William Davidson. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and George Thordsen was vocalist.

Mr. Dinse died at his home in Tipton Oct. 2.

The son of Joseph and Marie Jacobs Dinse, he was born near Clarence June 13, 1883. He farmed in the Mechanicsville-Stanwood-Tipton area. He was confirmed in the Evangelical church at Clarence and was a member of the Modern Woodmen of America.

He is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frieda Baruth, Palo Alto, Calif. and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
