James “Jimmie” S. Lensch, 68, of Tipton formerly of the Quad Cities passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2022 at Long Grove Christian Church. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Long Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be left to Cross Roads of Muscatine. Online condolences may be expressed at www.weertsfh.com .

Jimmie was born of February 12, 1954 in Davenport to Gene and Vera (Pollock) Lensch. Jimmie was always in the know about current events. He was an avid watcher of anything news related. He was a huge Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed taking long drives and could identify the type of vehicle he would pass. Most of all Jimmie enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his mother, Vera M. Pewe; sister, Susan Lensch Mahannan; brother-in-law, Frank Buchman; nieces and nephew; one grandniece and two grandnephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gene and his grandparents, Fred and Minnie Lensch and James and Lucille Pollock.
