Lois Lucilla (Suiter) Hoffman, 86, of Tipton, IA passed into eternity in the early morning hours of Tuesday, April 26, 2022, while at Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton.

The Tipton Calvary Foursquare Church will host all services and a luncheon on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, followed by a Celebration Life Service at 11:00 am and a luncheon at 12:00 noon. After the luncheon, Lois will be buried in the Shawver Cemetery in Cedar Bluff, IA. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com . Family asks that cards and memorials be mailed to 510 West Fourth Street, Tipton, IA 52772.

Lois, daughter of Edward Hartford and May (Ehlers) Suiter, was born on Sunday, September 22, 1935 in Le Claire, IA. In July of 1950, Lois married Leonard Hoffman and they farmed together until their divorce. After her divorce, Lois worked for Rockwell-Collins Radio until her retirement on February 23, 2001. Lois was past member of the: N.F.O., Clarence Quilting Guild and was with the IBEW LOCAL 1362. She was past member of the United Church of Christ and current member of the Calvary Foursquare Church. She enjoyed socializing at the Tipton Senior Dining and playing cards, especially Euchre and Sheephead. She also enjoyed many summers camping and skiing at Coralville Lake and her favorite spot Lake of the Ozarks; fishing with her buddy Ruthie.

Lois is survived by, daughter, Pamela (Matt) Fluharty of Tipton, IA; sons, Victor (Beverly) Hoffman of Onslow, IA and Mark (Joanne) Hoffman of Stockton, IA; 6 grandchildren, Christopher (Valerie), Kimberly (Clinton), Alexander, Rachelle (Andrew), Elizabeth and Mark Jr.;
and 6 great-grandchildren, Romy, Hattie, Coralee, Kaylyn, Elijah and Josie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and May; husband, Leonard; grandson, Craig Alan Hoffman; sisters, Virginia Broughton and Ida Mae Phillips; and brother, Myron Suiter.

Thanks to all friends and family that lived life, watched over and cared for Lois and a special THANK YOU to all staff at Cedar Manor that loved her and cared for her during these last couple of years during unusual and tough times.
