Services are being held at 1:30 p.m. today in the Runge Chapel, Davenport for Herman Jurgens, 66, who died Sunday in Mercy hospital, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.

Mr. Jurgens made his home with his son Dallas and family, southeast of here. He was a brother of Mrs. Ernest Burmeister of Lowden.

He was born in Scott County and married the former Edna Bludorn in 1927 in Davenport. She died in 1949. He had farmed in Scott and Muscatine counties.

Besides his son and sister here, he is survived by three grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Gilbert Popp, Atalissa and Mrs. Alfred Schwartz, Stockton, and two brothers, Johannes and Albert, both of Davenport.
