Kenneth Wayne “Buzz” Nebergall, 88, of Tipton, entered eternity on Thursday, December 30, 2021 while under the care of Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Private family graveside services are planned for Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 1:30 pm in the South Bethel Cemetery, rural Tipton, with Pastor Jonathon Smith, officiating. A memorial service will be held at later date. Online condolences may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com. A memorial fund has been established in his memory with the proceeds being directed towards the South Bethel Cemetery Fund and Cedar Manor Nursing Home. Buzz, as he was known, was born on August 24, 1933 in Cedar County, Iowa to Verl E. and Gertrude M. Horn Nebergall. Buzz was a member of the graduating class of 1952 from Tipton High School. He served in the US Army from 1954 through 1956 and returned to Cedar County where he became a lifelong farmer. Buzz was a member of the South Bethel Methodist Church until it eventually closed and then he transferred his membership to the Rochester United Methodist Church. Buzz served as the Treasurer of the South Bethel Cemetery Association for many years, was a member of the Farm Bureau and the American Legion.
Buzz is survived by his brother and sister-in law, Glen and Susan Nebergall of Tipton; brother-in-law, Don Schultz of Sioux City, IA; and his 6 nieces and nephews; Rebecca Albritton, David Nebergall, Brent Schultz, Beth Simmons, Heidi Neese and Gretchen Bozwell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Allen Nebergall, his sister, Marilyn Schultz and his niece, Wendy Nebergall.
