Funeral services for Albert Dewey Turner, 69, were held June 23 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Alex Murray, Herbert Richards, Herman Roberts, Charles Ford, Lewis McQuillen and Ray Isabel. Mrs. Ray Rupe and Mrs. William Stewart were in charge of flowers. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist.

Mr. Turner died June 20 at Cedar Manor after an extended illness.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Kelly Turner, he was born near Wilton Junction March 17, 1900 and attended the rural schools of the county. He was married to Isabel Adams Sept. 17, 1925. A retired farm laborer he spent his entire life in the Tipton area.

He is survived by 2 sons, Robert L. and Harold G., both of Tipton; 3 granddaughters, Mrs. Nellie Osborn, Atalissa and Mrs. Myrtle Osborn, Des Moines, a brother, Joseph, Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by a daughter in infancy and a brother.
