Funeral services for Edward Daryl Sisler, 48, were held June 16 at Waukegan, Ill., with burial in the Ft. Sheridan cemetery. Mr. Sisler died June 11 at Dondell Memorial hospital, Libertyville, Ill.

Born and raised in Cedar county he graduated from Stanwood high school in 1938 and entered the navy in June, 1939. He retired from the navy in 1961. He was a World War II and Korean War veteran.

He was employed as a "set-up man" for General Binding Co., Northbrook, Ill. He lived at 1011 Greenwood Ave., Waukegan, Ill.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Barbara and Nancy, Waukegan; a son, Edward, Gary, Ind.; 2 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Robert and Melvin, Long Beach, Calif.; his father E. Byron Sisler, Los Angeles, Calif. and 2 sisters, Mrs. Ralph Winslow and Mrs. Leslie Phelps, Tipton.
