Florence A. Wendt Kratoska, 56, of 1685 Daleview Drive, Marion, died Monday morning at University Hospitals, Iowa City.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1972, in Cedar County. On April 10, 1948, she was married to Dellas J. Kratoska in Cedar Rapids.

Mrs. Kratoska was a 1946 graduate of Olin High School. She had been a Vining, Iowa, resident for 10 years until moving to Cedar Rapids in 1965. She had lived in Marion the past 14 years.

Mrs. Kratoska was formerly employed at Peoples Bank and Trust and the Guaranty Bank. She also was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Catholic Daughters of America and the Kidney Foundation of Iowa.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her parents, Ernest and Lillian Wendt of Stanwood, Iowa; three daughters, Pamela Kratoska of Marion, Patricia Deike of Waverly and Peggy Reilly of Rockford, Ill.; a grandson; a brother, Robert of Stanwood; and two sisters, Ruth Fall of Marion and Lucile Kessler of Dubuque.

Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Marion, by the Rev. Keith Birch. Graveside services will be by the Rev. Patrick McCoy at the Stanwood Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Murdoch Funeral Home, Marion, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
