Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Clara) Schlueter, 83, were held at the Trinity Lutheran church, Lowden, May 2, with the Rev. Earl Elowsky officiating. Burial was in the Lowden cemetery.

Pallbearers were Chester and Arlo Ibsen, Lloyd Meyer, Marvin Kruse, William Jensen and Emil Hack. Mrs. Carl Wenndt and Mrs. Irwin Steinke were in charge of flowers. The male choir sang. Mrs. Lorenz Hoffmeier was organist.

Mrs. Schlueter died April 30 at the home of her son, Raymond, northeast of Lowden.

The daughter of William and Bertha Schultz Ibsen, she was born west of Lowden March 5, 1886. She attended the rural schools in the Lowden area.

She was married to Henry Schlueter by the Rev. J. H. Brammer Feb. 25, 1913 at Trinity Lutheran church. They farmed on the Schlueter homestead until 1940 when they retired and moved to Lowden. Mr. Schlueter died in 1941.

Mrs. Schlueter made her home with her son and daughter-in-law for the past 20 years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Mrs. Schlueter is survived by a son, Raymond; 4 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, John, Clarence, and Walter, Lowden. She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, a granddaughter, 6 brothers and 3 sisters.
