Last rites for Willie Miller, 73, Wilton, were held in the Frick Funeral home, Durant, March 24. Burial was in the Durant cemetery.

He died at his home March 21 after a brief illness.

Mr. Miller was born April 12, 1895, the son of Henry and Annie Miller. He was a retired farmer in the Durant area.

Surviving are his wife at home; a son, Marvin Miller, Davenport; 2 daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Velma) Cass and Mrs. Walter (Idella) Beeth, both of Davenport.

Ten grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren survive.

He was preceded in death by a son, August, who died during World War II, 4 brothers and 3 sisters.
