Services for Harold Doermann, 49, rural Clarence, who died in his home Oct. 29, were held Nov. 1 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence. Burial was in St. John's cemetery.

Mr. Doermann was born near Clarence and was a life-long resident of the area. He married Mildred Schmidt at Cedar Rapids in 1943.

Survivors include his wife; 3 daughters, Karen Doermann and Mrs. Michael Koch, both of Cedar Rapids, and Diane and a son, Larry, both at home; and his mother, Mrs. Ernest Doermann, Clarence.
