October 24, 1968 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Sharon Ann Gade, 18, were held Oct. 18 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Robert Leaf, Larry Browne, Keith and Jerry Wood, Ronald Rife and Michael Yerington. Mrs. Irma Crawford was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Schluter and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Conway were in charge of flowers.

Miss Gade died Oct. 16 at the family home in Tipton. She had been a lifelong invalid.

The daughter of Earl H. and Elva Rife Gade, she was born at Davenport Sept. 21, 1950 and spent most of her life in Tipton.

She is survived by her parents, 2 brothers, Michael and Wyatt, both at home; Mrs. Wally (Kay) Cawiezell and Mrs. Ronald (Dixie) Martin, both of Tipton and Mrs. James (Barbara) Kautz Jr. Cedar Rapids; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Gade and her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Rife, all of Tipton.
