Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Snider, 82, former Cedar county resident, were held July 6 at Iowa City, with burial in Memorial Gardens there.

Mrs. Snider died at her home in Iowa City July 3 following a lengthy illness.

Born at Cedar county, Feb. 5, 1886, the daughter of Fred and Alice Grunder Marolf, she lived in Cedar county where she taught school before moving to Muscatine. In 1938 Mrs. Snider moved to Iowa City.

Survivors are 2 daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Edna) Wagner, West Liberty and Mildred Snider, Iowa City.

Preceding her in death were 3 brothers and a sister.
