Funeral services for Ellsworth J. Cole, 54, a Wilton Junction farmer, were June 4 at the Seventh-Day Adventist church, Muscatine. Burial was in the Oakdale cemetery, Wilton Junction.

Cole died June 2 at his home after a brief illness. He was born July 16, 1913 at Elvira. He married Ferne Hillman March 12, 1939, at Wilton Junction.

Surviving are his wife, step-sons Russell and Lonnie Hillman, both of Muscatine, and John Hillman of Wilton; daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Sharon) Putt, Virginia Beach, Va. and Mrs. Richard (Carolyn) Yeggy, Nichols; 2 brothers and 4 sisters, and 16 grandchildren.
