The mass of the Angels will be celebrated at St. Mary church in Tipton at 10 a.m. Friday for Kevin James Penningroth, 5, son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond B. Penningroth. The Rev. Clifford Egert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary cemetery. Pallbearers will be Blain Crock, James Parker, Richard DeWulf and Michael White.

Kevin died at his home April 11, following a long illness.

He was born in Cedar Rapids Jan. 3, 1962 and is survived by 3 brothers, Mark, Kent and Thomas; a sister, Ann; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Francis White, Wilton Junction; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Penningroth; his maternal great-grandfather, Earl Pace, Muscatine and his paternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Lucy Safley, Tipton.

The body is at the Sheets and Son funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary building fund.
