Mrs. Wilson Walters, 87, a former Mechanicsville resident, died in a hospital at Rogers, Ark., following an illness of 2 months. Funeral services were held Feb. 9 at the Presbyterian church in Mechanicsville with the Rev. George Gallaher officiating. Burial was in Cedar Memorial cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
Mr. and Mrs. Walters lived in Mechanicsville for a number of years when he was railroad station agent. She is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. H. R. Clayton, Rogers, Ark., with whom she made her home, following her husband's death, and Mrs. Melvin Rowser, Montrose, Colo.; 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Mechanicsville Presbyterian church and Evangeline chapter of the Eastern Star.
