January 26, 1967 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank (Nettie) Krotz, 71, a lifetime resident of Tipton, were held Jan. 23 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with T. C. Campbell officiating. Burial was in Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were Harold and Robert Turner, Arnold Krotz, Walter Wiese, Ronald Luikart and Fred Sanders. Mr. and Mrs. David Kingsbury were in charge of flowers. Mrs. T. C. Campbell was organist.

Mrs. Krotz died in her home in Tipton following a lingering illness.

The daughter of Frank and Harriet Sweet Adams, she was born in Tipton Feb. 12, 1895 and was educated in rural schools of Cedar county. She was married to Frank Krotz Oct. 21, 1958 at Tipton.

She is survived by her husband, a son, Earl H. Baker and 4 daughters, Mrs. William (Agnes) Wade Jr., Mrs. Charles (Mary) Luettjohann, Alice and Rosella Baker, all of Tipton; 7 grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Frank Adams, Tipton; 4 brothers, Fred Adams, Cedar Rapids; Clarence and Wilbur Adams, Tipton and Clyde Adams, Davenport; 2 sisters, Mrs. William (Isabel) Malkmus, Tipton and Mrs. Edward (Pearl) Clampett, Oxford Junction.
