Funeral services were held Aug. 15 for William Seebeck of Tipton. Mr. Seebeck died Aug. 12 at the Utopia Nursing home at the age of 76.

Mr. Seebeck was born the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Seebeck April 28, 1890, at Snyder, Neb. As a boy he attended the rural schools of Oklahoma. In 1912 he married Hilda Moeller in Oklahoma City. Mr. Seebeck farmed in the Bennett area for many years before moving to Tipton.

Mr. Seebeck was a member of the Lutheran church in Bennett, and funeral services were held there, with the Rev. Paul Mueller officiating. The organist was Curtis Schroeder and the vocalist, Walter Schindler. Pallbearers were Ralph Becker, Elmer Belitz, Clarence Hartwig, Lloyd Hein, Virgil Wegener and Vernon Voss. Flower attendants were Mrs. Arnold Ketelsen, Mrs. Sylvan Kleppe and Mrs. Alex Frost. He was buried in Inland cemetery at Bennett. Sheets and Son Funeral Home in Tipton were in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include his five children: Mrs. Fred (Dorothea) Belitz, Mrs. Emil (Viola) Belitz, Emil, Walter and Louis Seebeck, all of Bennett. Also surviving are one brother, George Seebeck of Muscatine, 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
