Funeral services for Clarence Floyd Streets, 54, Tipton, were held at the Sheets and Son Funeral Home July 5.

The son of Ernest and Janie Sadie Edwards Streets, he was born Oct. 11, 1911 at Zwingle and died unexpectedly at Mercy hospital in Iowa City July 2. Mr. Streets, who had been a sawmill operator and had also farmed in this community since 1950 had engaged in trucking and farming in the Anamosa vicinity before that time.

He was married Feb. 23, 1935 to Ruby Reeder. Survivors include his widow, 3 sons, Larry, West Liberty; Robert, Moscow and Russell, Tipton; 2 brothers, Ralph, DeWitt and Leonard, Mechanicsville; a sister, Mrs. John (Evelyn) Bath of Davenport, 3 grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew. His father preceded him in death.

The Rev. Glenn Dooley officiated at the funeral. Albert Strefling, Dale Thumma, Robert Thumma, Fred Duffe and Thomas Thomsen were pallbearers, with Mrs. Irma Crawford organist. Mrs. Albert Strefling and Mr. and Mrs. Thorvald Thomsen were in charge of flowers. Interment was in the Tipton Maso;nic cemetery.
