Funeral services for Mrs. Everett Eggers, 67, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 4 at the Barker funeral home in West Branch. Burial will be in the West Branch cemetery.

Mrs. Eggers died March 1 at Mercy hospital in Iowa City, following a brief illness.

Eva Lunnette, daughter of Charles Sherman and Minnie Bell Franks Lafferty, was born Aug. 10, 1898 in Madrid. She was married to Lawrence Everett Eggers Feb. 23, 1918 at Atlantic.

She is survived by her husband, 7 sons: Merlin, Des Moines; Charles, Vinton; Edgar, Coralville; Lloyd, Tiffin; Maurice, Tipton; Roger, West Branch and 2 daughters, Mrs. Ruth Ary, Ryan and Mrs. Lola Meadows, New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Helen Hansen.
