Funeral services for Mrs. William Bucher, 73, were held at the Sheets and Son funeral home Feb. 12, with the Rev. E. H. Lauer officiating. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were James Walton, Lester and Robert Kelly, Henry W. Fields, Forest Rhoads and Vernon Lamp. George Thordsen was vocalist and Mrs. Irma Crawford organist.

Mr. and Mrs. Gale Gisel, Mrs. Gertrude Neessen and Rutha Thomas were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Bucher died at St. Luke's hospital, Cedar Rapids Feb. 9, following a lingering illness.

The daughter of Finn and Erna Ingwersen Feddersen, she was born March 13, 1892 at Camanche. She graduated from Clinton high school. She was married to William Bucher in Clinton Oct. 24, 1937.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ and Martha Circle of its Women's Fellowship. She had been a resident of Tipton for 40 years.

Mrs. Bucher is survived by 2 daughters, Mrs. M. E. (Lois) Thor, Naperville, Ill. and Mrs. W. F. (Rachel) Streib, Lawrence, Kans.; a step-daughter, Mrs. J. D. (Margaret) Cline, Tipton; a step-son, William J. Bucher, Atlantic; a brother, Henry Fedderson, Alexandria, Va.; 4 sisters, Mrs. Marvin Petersen, Helma Feddersen and Mrs. Irvin (Marie) Cromer, all of Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Harold (Esther) Grumpstrup, Clinton, 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother and a sister.
