Funeral services for Cora Ann Beard, 73, retired Wilton Junction school teacher, were held Jan. 26 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. I. G. Wilkins officiating. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.

Miss Beard died Jan. 24 at a Wilton Junction nursing home after a lengthy illness.

She was born Aug. 11, 1892 at Wilton Junction, the daughter of Frank and Anna Jane Frymoyer Beard. She was a life resident of Wilton Junction.

A member of the Wilton Methodist church, Miss Beard was also a charter member of the Wilton Garden club.

Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Blanche Kelley, Wilton Junction and 2 nephews, Hilbert F. Kelley and Nevin E. Kelley, both of Wilton Junction. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers and a sister.
