Last rites for William Guy Baughman, 81, were held Dec. 14 at the Sheets and Son funeral home with the Rev. Eugene Miller in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Dinse, Albert Kautz, Elry Rehben, Warren Rekemeyer, Loyd Nebergall and Ronald Luikart. Laura Geller was organist and Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Spencer and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Frederick were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Baughman died Dec. 11 at the Woode Nursing home where he had been for a short time. Death was due to a lingering illness.

The son of Lloyd and Jo Anne Shull Baughman, he was born Sept. 23, 1884 in Carroll county, Maryland and was educated in the rural Adams county, Pennsylvania, schools.

Mr. Baughman was married to Stella Gladfelter May 24, 1924. He was a resident of the Tipton area for 45 years and operated a tank wagon for approximately 40 years.

He is survived by 4 brothers, Curvin, Keota; Joe and Earl, York, Penn. and Maurice, Littletown, Penn.; 3 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Harner, Littletown, Penn. and Cora Baughman and Mrs. Virgil (Lottie) Loss, Hanover, Penn.
