Funeral services were held March 27 in Davenport for Henry Stuhr, 85, Bennett. Burial was in Davenport Memorial park. Mr. Stuhr, a long-time farmer in Scott and Cedar counties, died March 24 in Mercy hospital in Davenport.

Born in Wheatland, he was married to the former Clara Thede in Davenport in 1906.

He is survived by his widow, a son, Loyd, at home; 3 daughters, Mrs. Fritz Spickermann, Mrs. Clarence Lekwa and Mrs. Loyd Hien, all of Davenport; 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Also 5 sisters, Mrs. Harriet Petterson, Davenport; Mrs. Atlee Hart, Ames; Mrs. Emma Mulvihill, Oxford Junction; Mrs. Marguerite Browne of California and a brother, Herman, also of California.

Pallbearers were Verle Johnson, Frank Bartscher, Kenny Horstmann, Norman Regennitter, Alvin Harmsen and Clarence Miller.
