Requiem high mass for Catherine Patricia Mahoney, 55, was held at St. Mary's Catholic church Sept. 5 with the Rev G. A. Lillis officiating. Pallbearers were Lars Larson, Dale Sterner, Ed Liercke, John Waters, Harold Warden and Jack Handley. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery.

Miss Mahoney died suddenly at her home in East Moline, Ill. Sheets and Son funeral home was in charge of the service.

The daughter of Timothy and Mary Moon Mahoney, she was born in Tipton March 17, 1909 and graduated from Tipton high school and junior college and the Mercy hospital school of nursing at Davenport. She had been a industrial nurse at John Deere company for 22 years.

She is survived by a brother, Francis, Tipton; 3 sisters, Sister Mary Therese, Davenport; Loretta, Tipton and Mrs. Eileen Meyer and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.
