Funeral services for Henry T. Klaes, 67, were held at St. Mary's church in Wilton Junction Monday morning, June 29 with the Rev. Vincent Morrissey officiating.
Acolytes were Steven Grunder, Fred Grunder, Paul Lorber and Mark Lorber.
Pallbearers were Alfred Hansen, Kenneth Jasperson, Nathan House, Milton House, Clarence Frenzel and Paul Hedden. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery.
Mr. Klaes died at Mercy hospital in Iowa City after a brief illness. A retired farmer and resident of Wilton Junction a number of years, he was born Dec. 20, 1896. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Edith House, and by his parents.
Survivors include a brother, Matthew of Riceville and 2 sisters, Mrs. Mary Hughes, Long Beach, Calif. and Mrs. Margaret Downer, Osage.
