Died.

LONG - In Tipton, Monday July 28th, 1884. Mrs Catharine Long, wife of Reuben Long, aged eighty years.

Mrs. Long was one of the oldest settlers of the county, living here a period of forty-eight years, having settled in the county in 1836.

She had a large circle of friends and acquaintances, was widely known and greatly respected and beloved by all. The funeral took place Tuesday and was largely attended.
