Mary Imagene Dennis, 42, of Iowa City, died Nov. 25 at University hospital where she had been a patient for 5 days.

Funeral services were held at St. Mary's church in Mechanicsville with burial in Rose Hill cemetery at Mechanicsville.

She was born Feb. 6, 1920, at Mechanicsville, the daughter of Edward M. and Valentina Dennis, and was educated in the Mechanicsville schools. She was a member of St. Mary's church there.

Survivors include a son, Allen, Iowa City; and 2 brothers, Ben, Mechanicsville and Albert, Lisbon. Her parents preceded her in death.
