Graveside services for Mrs. Carrie B. Chase, 86, were held Nov. 26 at the Olin cemetery with the Rev. Raymon Ferguson officiating. Funeral services for Mrs. Chase were held at Ames earlier.

Mrs. Chase died in an Altoona nursing home following a stroke and hemorrhage Thanksgiving evening. She had been in the nursing home since she broke her hip a year ago.

The daughter of H. L. and Emaline Schneider, she was born in Cedar county. Her home was in Ames.

She is survived by 2 sons, Robert M., Des Moines, and Howard R., Las Vegas, Nev.; a daughter, Mrs. Marjorie Maroney, North Hollywood, Calif.; 2 sisters, Mrs. Ray Potter, Tipton and Mrs. Elizabeth Burroughs, Ames.

She was preceded in death by her husband, E. R. Chase; 2 brothers, Martin and Howard Schneider, a sister, Mrs. Anna J. Taylor; a son, Orlo and 2 daughters, Ethel and Cora.
