Funeral services for Diedrich (Dick) Gallmeyer, 82, were held Nov. 13 at St. Paul's Lutheran church in Stanwood, with the Rev. Reginald Muhl in charge. Burial was in the Stanwood cemetery.

Pallbearers were his nephews, Harold and Ernest Von Behren, Paul Portewig, Art Koering, Melvin Wigger and Everett Oetting. Music was by the Men's chorus, with Fredrick Meyer as soloist. Emil Licht was organist.

Mrs. Everett Oetting, Mrs. Leonard Koppenhaver and Mrs. Art Koering were in charge of flowers.

He died at his home in Stanwood at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 11.

He was born in Gar Creek, Ind. March 4, 1880 and came to Stanwood in 1901. He was married to Ida Von Behren Feb. 22, 1906.

Mr. Gallmeyer served for many years on the board of trustees of St. Paul's Lutheran church. He was also a member of the Stanwood city council for many years.

He is survived by his wife, 2 daughters, Mrs. Howard (Anna) Hamilton, Bensonville, Ill. and Mrs. Ray (Amelia) Burkett, Tipton; 3 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Ferd, Olympia, Wash. and Carl, Massillon.
