Funeral services for Mrs. Honnis (Ella) Wehde, 75, will be held at 1:30 today (Thursday) in the Sheets and Dahn funeral home with the Rev. A. R. Stratemeyer in charge. Burial will be in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers are 6 grandsons, Harry Wehde, Jr. and Richard and Reul Wehde, Robert Thee and Roger and Walter Timm. Mrs. Bert Highly and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Beyer were in charge of flowers.

Mrs. Richard Anderson was vocalist and Mrs. Arnold Swan, organist. There was a Rebekah Lodge service.

Mrs. Wehde died at her home in Tipton Nov. 6 after an extended illness.

The daughter of Chris and Sophia Schmidt, she was born Nov. 1, 1887 at Galesville, Wis. and was married to Honnis Wehde Feb. 20, 1907.

She came to Iowa from Wisconsin with her parents in 1894 and lived west of Tipton until she and Mr. Wehde moved to Tipton in 1944. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, a member of the Helping Hand Rebekah lodge, the Mt. Zion Guild and King's Daughters.

She is survived by her husband, 3 sons, Chris, Marion and Harry and Harold, Tipton, a daughter, Mrs. Martha Timm, Tipton; 2 grandchildren they raised, Mrs. Janis Parker, Norfolk, Va. and Robert Thee; a brother, Christ Koeger, Tipton, 2 sisters, Mrs. Sophia Lafrenz and Mrs. Emma Wehde, Tipton; 17 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Esther and Evelyn.
