Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Marie Olsen, 85, of West Branch were held Dec. 10 at the Bethany Lutheran church, West Branch. Mrs. Olsen died Dec. 6 at a West Liberty nursing home.

The Rev. William Thalacker officiated and burial was in the West Branch cemetery.

Born Dec. 12, 1878, in Denmark, she was the daughter of Anders and Sophia Anderson. She came to this country as a child.

She was married to N. P. Olsen, who died in 1957.

Mrs. Olsen was a member of Bethany Lutheran church.

Survivors include 3 daughters, Mrs. Lydia Lund, San Rafael, Calif.; Mrs. Edna Hicks, Omaha, Nebr., and Mrs. Ruth Hathaway, Burbank, Calif., and 2 sons, Richard and Ted, both of West Branch; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Sena Kundra, McMinville, Ore., and a brother, Viggo Anderson, Yankton, S.D. Five brothers and a sister, and her husband, preceded her in death.
