Funeral services for Mrs. Fred (Eleanor) Duffe, 47, were held Oct. 14 at Wilton Junction with the Rev. Joseph H. Mayer in charge. Burial was in Oakdale cemetery at Wilton Junction.

Pallbearers were Ed and Rolland Myers, Lawrence and Clarence Duffe, Louis Cooling and Kenneth Marolf.

Mrs. Duffe died Oct. 11 at a Wilton Junction nursing home after a long illness.

The daughter of Roy and Ella Myers Kinnan, she was born at Bennett Oct. 15, 1915, and lived in the south Cedar county area all of her life. She was married to Fred Duffe Feb. 27, 1945, at Keokuk.

She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Marsha, at home; a brother, Robert Kinnan, Rock Island, Ill.; her mother, Mrs. Ella Kinnan, Stanwood, and 7 sisters, Mrs. John (Marie) Frederick, Tipton; Leona Kinnan, Stanwood; Mrs. Max (Arlene) Donahue, Tipton; Mrs. Viola Miller, Rock Island, Ill.; Mrs. John (Shirley) Lange, Tipton; Mrs. Walter (Margaret) Schultz, Milan, Ill.; Mrs. Donald (Bette Ann) Peterson, Stanwood.

She was preceded in death by her father, a brother and a sister.
