16 May 1963 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Frederick Lamp, 80, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sheets and Dahn funeral home, with burial in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Mr. Lamp died at his home Wednesday morning after an extended illness.

23 May 1963 - The Tipton Conservative

Funeral services for Fred Lamp, 80, were held at the Sheets and Dahn funeral home May 17 with the Rev. A. C. Long in charge. Burial was in the Tipton Masonic cemetery.

Pallbearers were George Mueller, Nate Conley, Ed Sharpless, Tom Brennan, George Laucamp and Wilfred Furey. Mrs. Harvey Laucamp and Mrs. Robert Taylor were in charge of flowers.

Mr. Lamp died May 15 at his home in Tipton after a lingering illness.

The son of Henry and Margaret Steffen Lamp, he was born near Durant Jan. 28, 1883. He was married to Maude Barkhurst March 1, 1917 in Tipton.

He spent most of his life in the Tipton community, farming southwest of Tipton until he retired.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Frederick; 2 daughters, Mrs. Leo (Louise) Nebergall and Mrs. Alfred (Margaret) Rogers, both of Tipton; 9 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Ed, Tipton; Joseph, Letts and Julius, West Branch; 3 sisters, Mrs. Kathryn Achey, Mrs. William (Rose) Weih and Mrs. Jacob (Emma) Lafrenz, all of Tipton.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
