Still another, the third case of a mother dying and leaving her infant without her watchfulness has had its saddening effect on the Clarence community. Mrs. Eloise Sonnemaker Tracy, 21 years old, died at her home at Iron Hill, Jackson county, last week Wednesday but a few hours after a son was born to her. She was the daughter of Charles Sonnemaker and graduated from the Clarence high school with the class of 1934. That same year she married Thelman Tracy and they established a home north of Maquoketa. The funeral services were held at Iron Hill on Friday.
